The ninth edition of the Affordable Air Fair Hong Kong will showcase thousands of contemporary artworks from over 60 hand-picked local and international galleries and exhibitions. Over 50 of them are from Hong Kong. The annual art fair has been active in promoting local art and providing a platform for local art enthusiasts to discover emerging Hong Kong artists and their works.
The “Young Talent Hong Kong x Next Gen” will showcase artworks from 26 local artists under the theme of “Welcome to the Zoo.” The other spotlight is “Special Project,” which invites artists from different disciplines to exhibit at the fair. This year, artists such as Sophia Hotung and Amber Ng specifically created a large-scale installation inspired by Hongkongers and everyday life in the city.
