Raised by a father who incorporated Eastern medicine and acupuncture into his Western medical practice, it’s no surprise that Alec Benjamin has also infused Chinese elements into his music career. After blowing up in 2018 with his single Let Me Down Slowly, the indie artist released multiple versions of his songs in Mandarin, including a studio version of Water Fountain with famed Chinese actress Zhao Lusi.
