A never-seen-before musical in honour of late Cantopop star Leslie Cheung is making its debut in Hong Kong! Café I Do is a spellbinding musical celebrating the works of the Hong Kong artist and pop culture icon.
The tale of this musical follows two brothers who organise a Leslie Cheung-themed evening on the last day of operations of their late father’s café, which leads to lively reinterpretations of Cheung classics, as well as a few new songs thrown in the mix. The production highlights Cheung’s many talents as an actor, singer, dancer, and more. Viewers should prepare for an emotional experience; Café I Do promises to be a vibrant tribute!
