The Centre for Heritage, Arts, and Textile (CHAT) is launching a highly collaborative summer programme. It is a combination of exhibitions and workshops which unite international and local institutions, art practitioners, community groups, and visitors in response to the global Covid-19 pandemic and ecological urgency.
“We are Textile Culture Net!” will select three works presented by the Textile Culture Net (TCN) in the past, and juxtapose them with contemporary artworks, including those by Alma Quinto, as well as collaborated community projects with Rebirth Garments and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers. Visitors will also be able to take part in zero-waste garment-making workshops, artwork-making, and dyeing activities as part of the museum experience.
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
