Resuming live performances with the much-welcomed return of “LauZone,” a local multilingual cabaret starring Rick Lau and Anna Lo, Tai Kwun is delighted to share a second season of six exclusive shows from this spirited show. Its name a world play on the Cantonese phrase ascribed to past generations of Hong Kong folks, most of whom were immigrants, the performance toys with the local dialect to pay tribute to the inherited legacies of the city.
The show swings between Chinese and English, with subtitles to help tie everything together. Held at JC Cube, there is one performance per night starting from 8 pm between 2 to 5 June, with additional matinees starting 2.30 pm on Saturday, 4 June, and Sunday, 5 June. Find out more and reserve your tickets here.
