If you’re on the hunt for fun things to do with your friends over the summer, look no further than Lan Kwai Fong and its “Electric Summer” campaign, running from 1 July to 31 August.

Kicking off the festivities, “Summer Beat Fest” took over the streets of Lan Kwai Fong on 13 and 14 July with music from local artists and DJs. Notable names such as indie pop group The Hertz and all-girl rock band Fiester brought up the temperature on the streets with their performances, while festival-goers could enjoy drinks and browse for trinkets at the artisan market.

Aside from the two-day festival, Lan Kwai Fong still has much more in store for the two-month-long summer campaign. Those who enjoy comedy can head over to iconic restaurants like Fumi and Aria for stand-up comedy shows, while foodies can check out Chao Tian Men and Twelve Flavors, which have collaborated with the Lan Kwai Fong committee on limited discounts. Alternatively, more health-conscious people can turn to Pure Fitness for a free taster trial.

Restaurants and bars at Lan Kwai Fong have also curated speciality menus, the most noteworthy partnership being summer cocktails crafted with London No 3 Gin, which are now being served in restaurants in the area. For a seasonal culinary experience, head over to Tokio Joe and Aria for new seasonal menus, or revisit Porterhouse for its revived steak-frites night!
