Bubble Wonderland, Hong Kong’s largest sparkling wine pop-up store, opens its doors at Fashion Walk from 19 March to 18 April. Helmed as Hong Kong’s most vibrant lifestyle district and shopping mecca, Fashion Walk invites visitors to its one-month exhibition that features sparkling wines from around the world. Visitors can discover stories about some of the most prestigious sparkling wines with a series of captivating activities.
Located in the basement of Kingston Street, Causeway Bay, the 10,000 plus square feet pop-up mirrors an underground champagne cellar. In addition to featuring over 100 sparkling wines from all over the world for sale, there will also be sparkling cocktails in the pop-up’s cocktail demonstration corner. Aperol Spritz, an Italian summer favourite, is made with Aperol and Prosecco. A special ready-to-drink cocktail that comprises St. Germain, the first Elderflower Liqueur in the world, is also available. Those looking for alcohol-free beverages can enjoy Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits. Delicious food pairings are also offered, from caviar to delectable Iberico hams from Spain, and from artisan cheese to cold cuts from France.
Special activities are available for visitors to join on Fridays, weekends and public holidays, including the RSRV masterclass, which provides the opportune occasion for visitors to understand the production of sparkling wines; the MCC Blind Challenge, offering a tasting session for visitors to relish South African sparkling wines, as well as a Perrier x Murakami pop-up photo booth at the entrance. Visitors can also attempt opening a bottle of sparkling wine with a sword in the Sabrage Experience and have a go at champagne bottle riddles!
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
