Kyoto-based gin distillery label Ki No Bi is once again taking you on a trip, this time for a tour to Kyoto. Starting from 7 July to 2 August 2021, Ki No Bi presents “Ki No Bi Torii,” a one-month pop up at Tell Camellia. The collaboration brings together tea and gin in creating one-of-a-kind “Teatails.” Symbolising sacred blessings, as well as marking the entrance of transition, the “torii” transports you from the dynamic and lively streets of Hong Kong to a tranquil and serene teahouse in Kyoto.
Tell Camellia will be revamped inside and out, with added elements of Kyoto as well as a Kyoto-styled torii on the outside of the bar. Apart from serving the various Ki No Bi “Teatails” concocted with the three Ki No Bi gins, there will also be a “Tea and Ki No Bi Tea” workshop ($550 per person), held on four consecutive Saturdays from 4 to 6 pm. The workshop will give you a taste of the various types of speciality teas and the six elements of the Ki No Bi gins. Limited seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis, please book in advance by contacting the team at Tell Camellia.
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
