Delicious things happen when South African wines meet Cantonese cuisine! On 26 August, Springbok Wines is teaming up with Madame Fù to host a spectacular wine dinner. Six wines have been expertly paired to six courses by sommelier Michael Ko to compliment the authentic Cantonese cuisine prepared by the team at Madame Fù.
Not your average wine dinner, this is a live, interactive, informative and entertaining event. Each wine is presented with the story behind the estate, an understanding of the varietal and what to look for in the glass. Each meal pairing is explained and presented by the head sommelier or chef, enhancing the experience and allowing you to get the most from the pairing.
Expect to savour the delicate Swerwer Chenin Blanc 2019 alongside wok-fried scallop with baby lotus seed and XO sauce, De Grendel Op Die Berg Pinot Noir 2018 with sesame chicken, Lammershoek White Mysteries 2017 with shrimp and parmesan spring rolls, and many more decadent pairings!
