Hong Kong is getting ready to welcome another exciting sports tournament—the Hong Kong Football Club Soccer Sevens will be celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary, with 24 teams taking part in the seven-a-side competition!
Aston Villa, West Ham United, Rangers, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, and Leicester City will be coming to Hong Kong for the occasion, and Hongkongers will also get to cheer on local teams as well.
HKFC Soccer Sevens 2024 also marks the first Soccer Sevens women’s tournament in Hong Kong, with eight women’s teams from Hong Kong and Macau competing. Check out the complete list of participating teams here.
Tickets are now on sale here. Keep in mind that admission is free for all on Friday, 24 May, but you’ll need tickets to the event on Saturday and Sunday, with day and weekend passes available to purchase. Kids under five years old can enter for free, and there are concessionary ticket prices for guests aged five to 16. Plenty of food and drink options will be available during the event.
