Whether you prefer tea sourced from China, Thailand, Japan, or if you favour the more local Hong Kong-style milk tea, the Hong Kong International Tea Fair 2024 is one expo that you shouldn’t miss. It boasts a broad selection of premium teas, tea-related products, and teaware sourced from across the globe, giving tea connoisseurs the opportunity for a tea-aroma-filled shopping spree.

Speaking of aromas, Best Aroma will be one of the numerous awards exhibitors will be competing for at the Hong Kong International Tea Competition this year, and visitors will have a chance to enjoy the winning teas at a complimentary tasting session on the last day of the fair. Another regular at the tea fair, the National & Greater Bay Area KamCha Competition (Hong Kong Milk Tea), will have its finale held at the fair. A new face to the competitive side of the tea fair is the International Tea Event Space Design Competition, which invites participants to present their own creative tea-serving space designs, and shortlisted designs will be on display for fair-goers and exhibitors alike.

If you’re more interested in the multitude of cultures surrounding tea, you can check out the Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum debuting this year, or watch the Song-dynasty tea ceremony and the Urasenke Japanese tea ceremony demonstration for a taste of how tea intertwines with different cultures globally. Visit the Hong Kong International Tea Fair from 15 to 17 August for a tea-riffic time! For more information, click here.
