From 17 to 23 July, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will be packed with happenings, such as the Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo, organised co-jointly with HKTDC Hong Kong Book Fair and HKTDC World of Snacks.

The Sports and Leisure Expo welcomes sports and leisure brands to showcase their products, and it also features fun experiences to visitors. It’s a family-friendly event offering activities for all ages. Dedicated areas for ball games, water sports, marathons, cycling, fitness, yoga, climbing, and e-sports make up the sports categories, while the leisure category has stalls for board games, crafts, DIY, drawing and painting, music, photography, and even theme parks. You can find the full list of exhibitors here.

The Hong Kong Sports and Leisure Expo also provides visitors with the opportunity to try quite a few experiences. For adventurers, there’s a mobile rope zip-line course complete with a swing rope, a rope-net bridge, and a balance beam, and a ninja obstacle racing experience inspired by a Japanese TV show.

A highlight of this year’s Sports and Leisure Expo is the Japan Pavilion, promoting tourism in Japan through a virtual reality activity available from 19 till 21 July, Japanese food and wine, an Ainu cultural experience, and a special performance of Ainu traditional dance and music.

Here’s a tip: A ticket to either the Sports and Leisure Expo, World of Snack, or the Hong Kong Book Fair will grant you access to all three events.
