The International Arts Carnival (IAC) is a summer-long art event packed with live performances and workshops for families. Kicking off with a show by the China National Acrobatic Troupe which wowed the crowd, IAC also promises an illusionist show by Hong-Kong magician Louis Yan and Hiroki Hara of America’s Got Talent, an interactive dance experience for kids called “+Erba — A Forest in the City,” an exploration of the animal kingdom in “Animal Gacha,” and a puppet theatre show of the famous Rainbow Fish world. The immersive experiences are a great way for children to learn, play, and exert themselves.
For kids interested in classical music, two IAC activities are happening in partnership with the Hong Kong Sinfionetta orchestra: “Shortcut to Classical Music: The Instruments Of An Orchestra” and “The Other Side of Beethoven.” You can find the International Arts Carnival programme details here. Tickets can be purchased on Urbtix under the IAC appellation—find them here. You can also make a booking on the phone from 10 am to 8 pm every day.
Born and raised in the French countryside, Lily arrived in Hong Kong looking for an adventure.
