After the successful launch of its Jazz Signature concert series back in in July, Xiqu Centre is getting ready to welcome another jazz sensation: the captivating Grace Kelly will take to the stage on 25 September.
Grace Kelly, a rising star of the jazz world, is a multi-talented saxophonist, singer, songwriter, and composer who has taken the jazz scene by storm. With her infectious energy, Kelly’s concerts are pushing the boundaries of jazz into new bold territories. She made her debut at a mere 14 years old, and went on to play at Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration when she was only 16. Now, Kelly has worked on 15 albums, performed at major festivals, and collaborated with artists like Dave Brubeck, Wynton Marsalis, and Harry Connick Junior.
For her highly anticipated Hong Kong debut, Kelly will be joined by an ensemble comprising pianist Anastassiya Petrova, bassist James Dale, and drummer Ross Pederson. Tickets are sure to go fast, so secure yours here and get ready for an unforgettable evening.
Born and raised in the French countryside, Lily arrived in Hong Kong looking for an adventure. Passionate about books, she spent some time in Parisian publishing houses and is the author of an illustrated book about hair.
