Hong Kong’s longest-running free outdoor music festival is back! Lamma Fun Day Beach Music Festival returns to the outlying island on Saturday, 16 November, promising to bring a full programme of music, entertainment, and delicious food and drinks to Tai Wan To Beach.
Browse across 30 different stalls at the Lamma Bazaar, with crafts and vintage items to choose from, as well as a face-painting booth and other activities. Candela, Lamma Express, Lapa, and 80 Restaurant & Bar from Yung Shue Wan will be dishing up delectable bites. Visitors can also indulge in homemade cakes at the Lamma Bake Sale charity stall, and wash it all down with beverages by Singha, Yardley Brothers, Lolea Sangria, and Victoria Wines.
Music will be provided by the student winners of the Musician’s Foundation’s Battle of the Bands, as well as an extensive roster of bands and DJs, including Covers of Covers, Yung Shue Wan Curs, The Reliants, Funkee Tung, Fish Godmother, The Sinister Left, Naggin Eejits, The Sirens, Junk!, Nick Florent, The Llufrios, Flook, Vianee Fernie, KCR, Le Groupe Electrogene Fanfare Club, Kitchen Ceilidh, Shrimple Plan, The Pineapple Jam, The Funkaphones, The King of Pig Bones, and The Lamma Blues Collective to wrap up the night.
Lamma Fun Day Beach Music Festival also contributes to a good cause. Charity market stalls and a silent and live charity auction will raise funds for various projects and organisations, including Right4Children and the Children Welfare Scheme. Learn more here.
