Lee Gardens is bringing its popular coffee festival back to Causeway Bay! Without a doubt, Hong Kong runs on caffeine. Not only that, with new cafés and coffee shops popping up on every corner, it’s safe to say that Hong Kong champions coffee culture. Embracing this aspect of local identity, Lee Gardens Coffee Fest gathers the best brewers for a three-day celebration.
Spread over two locations, “Coffee on the Road” on Pak Sha Road is a 20-stall market showcasing local and international brewers. Go for good coffee and live entertainment, with concerts and a vinyl-listening station to be expected. Sustainable businesses will also be present; among them, Circular & Co will give away sustainable coffee mugs.
At “Coffee Underground” in Hysan Place, visitors can join coffee-related workshops, including an exciting latte art challenge. Under the theme “Taste the Social Stories,” the underground space encourages coffee drinkers to meet and exchange. On Friday and Saturday night, the event will stay open till 8 pm, inviting participants to enjoy a night cuppa and share stories.
All straws served at the festival are made from recycled coffee grounds, and all coffee grounds from the event will be repurposed as plant fertiliser! Learn more here.
