K11 Art Mall presents the K11 CLASSICS REBORN project, showcasing over 40 poster prints and over 15 figurine styles featuring The Peanuts Global Artist Collective artwork by seven internationally-acclaimed artists to revisit a most-loved classic - the iconic PEANUTS comic strip by Charles M. Schulz.
2020 is the 70th anniversary of the birth of the famous comic strip Peanuts. In 2018, Peanuts engaged 7 internationally-acclaimed artists, André Saraiva x Mr A, FriendsWithYou, AVAF, Kenny Scharf, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Rob Pruitt, and Nina Chanel Abney to form The Peanuts Global Artist Collective, and re-create classic Peanuts characters with their distinctive art skills and individual stories. The emotional stories of iconic characters such as Charlie Brown and Snoopy have influenced authors, filmmakers, songwriters, painters, and sculptors, including the artists from The Peanuts Global Artist Collective- these artistic creations will be available for the public to experience as traditional 2D poster prints at the Peanuts Global Artist Collective Viewing Room at K11 Art Mall.
