Mark your calendars—the second Discovery Bay Open Water Race Challenge is happening this month on 25 August. The exciting challenge comprises four race categories: 400-metre, 1.7-kilometre, and 3.8-kilometre solo open water races, and the 400-metre family relay. Swimmers of all levels are welcome to participate individually or as part of a two-people relay in the family race.
The starting points of the races differ, with the longest one debuting at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Pier. All finishing lines meet at Tai Pak Beach, where finishers and supporters can celebrate together—and cool down at the nearby Splashtopia water park.
Online registration is open from now till 18 August. Find out more about the event here.
