Distressed Asset is a new English-language play by Candice Moore. Inspired by the “Milkshake Murder” case, it tells the story of Susan Goldsmith, who lives the expat dream as the wife of Spencer, a high-flying investment banker in Hong Kong, with their two children and domestic helper. But after enduring 20 years in a toxic, abusive marriage, Susan conspires with her lover to murder Spencer…
Starring Moore alongside Jacqueline Gourlay Grant, Russell Aranza, and Stephen Elting, the play will run at the McAulay Studio in the Hong Kong Arts Centre from 10 to 14 April at 8 pm, and on 13 and 14 April at 3 pm. Running for approximately one hour and 45 minutes, it is advised for an audience of 16 years old and above.
