Distressed Asset is a new English-language play by Candice Moore. Inspired by the “Milkshake Murder” case, it tells the story of Susan Goldsmith, who lives the expat dream as the wife of Spencer, a high-flying investment banker in Hong Kong, with their two children and domestic helper. But after enduring 20 years in a toxic, abusive marriage, Susan conspires with her lover to murder Spencer…
Starring Moore alongside Jacqueline Gourlay Grant, Russell Aranza, and Stephen Elting, the play will be performed at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre Lecture Hall from 8 to 11 May at 8 pm and on 11 May at 3 pm. Running for approximately one hour and 45 minutes, it is advised for an audience of 16 years old and above.
