Japanese band The 5.6.7.8’s is coming to Hong Kong for one night only! You might remember their hit song Woo Hoo from Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill Vol. 1, but the female garage rock band has been shredding since 1986, the longest-running group of its genre in Japan. Greatly inspired by music from the 1950s to the 1980s, attending one of their concerts is a great opportunity to hear vintage sounds. Joining them on stage is Hong Kong’s very own Rockabilly Kings, The Boogie Playboys, and The Black Lodge Cabaret. Get your tickets here.
Born and raised in the French countryside, Lily arrived in Hong Kong looking for an adventure. Passionate about books, she spent some time in Parisian publishing houses and is the author of an illustrated book about hair. Life in Hong Kong for her entails looking for seaside places to eat and a lot of hiking.
