Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s Japanese izakaya bar, The Aubrey, is dimming the lights and turning the volume up at its newly launched “The Aubrey After Dark” sessions! This new nightlife series celebrates Hong Kong’s ever-evolving party and clubbing scene, with a nod to its golden era in the 1960s.
Every Friday night, from 10 pm till late, you can party the way it was done back in the day, when The Aubrey was still the popular Harbour Restaurant. Now, The Aubrey is honouring its showbiz legacy with a stellar trio commissioned to curate a modern line-up of international DJs and local performers who will collaborate each week—think familiar soulful house and disco blended to the beat of underground music trends coming straight from Western capitals. To join in on the party, book your ticket, inclusive of one free drink, here.
Born and raised in the French countryside, Lily arrived in Hong Kong looking for an adventure. Passionate about books, she spent some time in Parisian publishing houses and is the author of an illustrated book about hair. Life in Hong Kong for her entails looking for seaside places to eat and a lot of hiking.
