The Stillness Within

10 Chancery Lane Gallery presents a group exhibition of photographs by anothermountainman x Shuho, Cang Xin, Huang Rui, Gerry Li, Fiona Pardington, RongRong & inri and Manit Sriwanichpoom and John Thomson whose practices shine light on the stillness within that exists regardless of the outer world’s happenings.

Deeply inspired by the work of anothermountainman in collaboration Japanese Ikebana artist Shuho, the exhibition of THE STILLNESS WITHIN came to fruition. Ikebana is the tradition of flower arranging or making flowers alive that dates back to the 7th century when floral offerings were made at altars. Shuho expresses that “heaven and earth and I are from the one and the same beginning. All things and I belong together.” Together with Hong Kong artist anothermountainman who says, “empathy and compassion for all is kindness and mercy.” Together their practice radiates “a story about roots, love, gratitude, impermanence and rebirth.
