All good things start with coffee. Kicking off with November’s Coffee Festival, Tong Chong Street Market will take market-goers on an aromatic tasting journey from breakfast till lunch with twelve finest coffee vendors. Four award-winning coffee vendors from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand made a special trip to Hong Kong to participate in this year’s Coffee Festival – Two Degrees North Coffee Co. from Singapore, who brings their exquisite coffee not only to walk-in customers but also restaurants and corporates; Brew & Bread Coffee Roasters located in Malaysia, is known for its exceptional coffee and taste bud tantalizing all day brunch and sandwich menu; also from Malaysia is Artisan Roastery, who is dedicated to sustainability and direct trade; lastly Ristr8to from Thailand is bringing specialty coffee such as Godmother Mocha and Koffegroni etc.
The local ones-to-watch this year include TROIS Café, who works on specialty coffee, specialty tea, and pastries that combines local and western styles. For Bad Ass Coffee, it is all about serving authentic Japanese specialty coffee with an attitude. Grassman whips up exclusive coffee-related desserts to Hong Kongers who have a sweet tooth, while Zero One Coffee & Roastery brings Coconut Latte and oriental floral scented coffee to the market.
