Farewell to the Year of the Rat and welcome a new year full of hope and challenge! Lee Tung Avenue, the largest outdoor pedestrian street in Hong Kong, will continue to cheer for everyone in the new year. From 29 January to 31 March 2021, a brand-new art installation “Butterflies of Hope.Blessing Lanterns,” which integrates both Chinese and Western aesthetics, will be at Lee Tung Avenue and it is destined to be the next popular check-in spot in town!
Along with the art installation, there will be traditional red lanterns hung along the entire boulevard, as well as AI-powered lighting and music to match the festive ambience and bring an additional element of excitement. It is the perfect place for families to check out during Lunar New Year!
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
