Presented by Everbright, the gruelling yet exciting Spartan Race will return at Kam Tin Country Club in Yuen Long on 20 and 21 November 2021. Known to be the most challenging but fun and achievable for people of all ages, the organisers are calling both newbies and seasoned racers to ditch their comfort zone and to embrace their shortcomings this November. All classic obstacles are back, and this year the race comes with a brand-new racing design and the longest Kids Race course yet, with a total of three kilometres covering 10 to 15 obstacles. Racers can expect to be surrounded by fitness elites, sports and health enthusiasts, and young adventurers all with the same goal—to conquer challenges and to leave no regrets behind!
To create and ensure the safest possible conditions for all participants, this year’s Spartan Race will be split into two days to avoid crowds gathering and reduce the number of racers in each heat. Moreover, personal hygiene stations with hand sanitisers will also be available at each obstacle and all water and mud obstacles are made optional for all racers under the “Open” category. Early-bird discount tickets for the Spartan Race are available from now until 17 October. Visit Spartan Race Hong Kong’s official website to register and get your tickets now!
For those who prefer to run and compete on their own time, Spartan Hong Kong is also launching its third virtual trail race after the success and increasing popularity of the Spartan spin-off. With 10-kilometre and half-marathon races taking participants up The Peak, the Spartan Virtual Trail 3.0 offers a brand-new challenge for Hong Kong’s growing legion of trail runners with elite and open categories offering a route for every ability level.
