Women of Hong Kong is partnering with Swop Society to offer you a sustainable spring wardrobe refresh! On 20 April from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm, at The Women’s Lounge in Central, you can come and swap clothes from your existing wardrobe for some new looks. What’s more, a stylist will be present at the event to give style and colour consultation, so hopefully you can keep those new pieces forever.
Simply gather the clothes, hats, bags, and accessories that you don’t plan on wearing anymore, show up at the time slot indicated on your ticket, and start exchanging! You can bring up to 10 items, which will go through a quality check and become eligible for tokens. If you own more than 10 items that you would like to get rid of and they pass the quality check, you can donate them to the event, but you won’t receive extra tokens. Please note the swap is exclusively for womenswear.
If the upcycling session doesn’t entirely satisfy you and you’re looking for a few new pieces to add to your wardrobe, the event will also be your chance to discover eight sustainable brands you can shop from. Early-bird tickets are priced at $150, but you can always buy entry at the door for $200. Find out more here.
