Ahead of the grand opening in May (exact date to be announced), the famous New York burger brand is giving impatient Hong Kongers a taste of things to come — namely the famous 'roadside' style burgers, griddled flat-top dogs, and crispy crinkle-cut fries its known and loved for.
Transforming the Atrium into a beautiful park, just like the first ever Shack at Madison Square Park, the brand hopes to bring the vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere from New York City all the way to the 852. Between 11am and 4pm, burger lovers can feast to their stomachs' content and sample the menu that will feature in Hong Kong’s first-ever Shake Shack on the fourth floor of the ifc mall, overlooking Victoria Harbour.
Worth the hype? We all know that Hong Kongers are the first to jump in line for the latest food craze (the gram needs to eat after all) but with Shake Shack winning the title of "Best Burger" in 2014 at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival's Burger Bash, and ranking number seven in TIME Magazine's "17 Most Influential Burgers of All Time", we think it might be worth the long old wait this time.
