We're always on the lookout for great brunch spots and now popular sandwich eatery, Bread & Beast, has joined our list of favourite hangouts with the launch of its new brunch menu designed to keep Hongkongers and their four-legged friends satiated on the weekends.

The new menu features a diverse selection of naughty-but-nice dishes alongside healthier alternatives, all the while
incorporating traditional Cantonese flavours and cherished brunch classics. Those in need of a meat fix might enjoy the
Char Sui Eggs Benedict ($138) or the
Kentucky San Burger ($148) which features crispy fried chicken, a sunny-side-up egg, curried Kewpie mayo, pickled ginger, and nori served on a brioche bun with a side of kumquat cabbage and tomato salt fries.

Meanwhile, diners with a sweet tooth will no doubt savour the highly grammable Rainbow French Toast ($108) which comes with three types of fruit jam and ricotta cheese. They might also enjoy the nutritious and flavoursome Coconut Yoghurt Bowl ($108) which blends together blueberry goji coconut granola with berries, baby basil, and bourbon caramel, served atop a generous portion of cooling coconut yoghurt.

If, however, you're after a healthier alternative, there are three guilt-free dishes to choose from, which have been designed in collaboration with
accredited Exercise Physiologist and Scientist, Calibrate by Stephanie. These include the
Good Morning Sunshine! ($138) which mixes sweet potato with poached eggs and smashed avocado, and comes served with coconut yoghurt and kumquat watercress, the Buddha Bowl ($138) which features slices of grilled tofu, roasted cauliflower rice, poached egg, smashed avocado, and chipotle yoghurt, and the YDWK (You Don’t Wanna Know) ($68) a vegan brownie with mint milk.

Ginger Kefir Soda ($48)[/caption]
The Bread & Beast team have also worked with Al’s Kefir
, a locally made brand of kefir, to design a series of health-benefiting drinks including Lychee Kefir Soda, Ginger Kefir Soda, and Kefir Tea Soda (all priced at $48). But if you fancy something a little stronger, we highly recommend the classic Gin & Tonic ($88) or the Fake Old Fashioned ($108) served with ginger beer. With its casual atmosphere, dogs welcome policy, and affordable dishes, this is a great option for weekend brunching with friends – and
Man’s Best Friend.
