Unlike rice, the other staple of Asian cuisine, there’s no end to the variety of noodles out there. Each region has its own special way of preparing them, too, whether it be Japan’s ramen (ラーメン; a savoury noodle soup), Myanmar’s mohinga (မုန့်ဟင်းခါး; a rice noodle and fish soup), or Hong Kong’s very own wonton noodles.
