Game of Thrones fans (that's surely everyone right?) To mark the much-anticipated arrival of season seven of the epic show, HBO Asia has some thrilling treats up its sleeve for fans this July ...
Free Fro-yo at Yo Mama
The network will giving away 1,000 free Yo Mama frozen yogurts inspired by the Night King on July 29 and 30. The 'Game of Thrones' cup is created using Yo Mama’s signature low-fat and natural fro-yo, topped with blueberry sauce, shards of blue sugar glass, and a specially made Night King butter cookie for the finishing touch.
GoT fans will also have the chance to meet and snap a selfie with the creepy character and a White Walker in Yo Mama's IFC store between 2pm and 5pm over the weekend. To get your hands on a free cup, all you have to do is like HBO Asia on Facebook or follow them on Instagram, and tag yourself with the White Walker using the hashtag
#GOTS7HK.
So if you have a weakness for fro-yo and creepy dudes, this is the place to be next weekend.
A Game of Thrones Truck
Aside from bagging free fro-yo,
GoT fans will also have the chance to hop inside a special
GoT truck which will be touring across eight locations in Hong Kong (see below) over two weekends,
July 22 to 23 and
July 29 to 30. Once inside they'll be able to participate in a variety games and win limited edition prizes. There will also be a green screen photo opportunity for fans to take photos of themselves against an animated wintery
GoT background.
July 22 - Tseun Wan (City Walk, Wo Tik Street) and Mei Foo (Mei Foo MTR Station Exit C1 - Lai Wan Road)
July 23 - Whampoa, Hung Hom (Baker Street) and Kwai Fong (Ko Fong Street, Kwai Chung)
July 29 - Mong Kok (Sai Yeung Choi South) and Prince Edward (Nullah Road)
July 30 - Wan Chai (Wan Chai Computer Centre MTR Exit) and Shau Kei Wan (Mong Lung Street - Shau Kei Wan MTR Station Exit C)
A Thrilling Meet & Greet
If you're a fan of the show and happen to be in Mong Kok on July 22 or 24, keep your eyes peeled for the Night King and White Walker who will be giving passers-by a thrill outside the CSL Mong Kok store from 2pm to 5pm (Shop No. 8 on G/F, Sun Kong House, 2J - Q Sai Yeung Choi Street South). Fans are welcomed to take photos of the iconic characters – just don’t look into their piercing blue eyes!
