Working and spending the whole day at the office can be very tiring and stressful. Most jobs require people to sit behind a desk and work in front of their computers for eight hours or more. Long days at work can cause more pressure if you are experiencing back aches from sitting down for hours on end, and if you have been doing the same job for many years now, you may have been experiencing regular pain in your lower back. This is just one of the effects of sitting for the whole day, but there are ways to alleviate your pain. Wellness blogger
June Earls shares some simple tips to help you sit comfortably during the workday.

Stay Engaged During the Work Day
The main challenge of having a job that requires you do to the same thing every day in the same room is boredom. If you want to get away with the feeling of boredom and stress, you should try and stay active. Do not procrastinate because doing something irrelevant can be a reason for you to feel uncomfortable with the work that you are doing. With this, you have to stick to the job, be productive, and make the most out of your time.
Maintain Daily Fitness Motivation
Another great way for you to make sure that you are physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy – even with the demand of work in the office – is to make sure that you are motivated to be fit. There are different ways you can do this. Look for the perfect motivation and find someone to look up to. This way, you will be able to keep yourself energised and on track with your mission to stay healthy.
Keep a Regular Fitness Schedule
Keeping a consistent fitness schedule is a good way to help you maintain your physical health. If you have a busy working week, you may find yourself thinking you don’t have the time for other things, but if you really want to avoid the negative effects of being in an office every day and experiencing unhealthy results, you should try to stay disciplined. Find the time in your day that works best for you to exercise, and make sure you stay loyal to that schedule. It may take some time and sacrifices at the beginning, but it's well worth it in the end.
Pick a Great Chair
Another thing that may cause discomfort on your part while working in an office is your
office chair. If you are sitting in a hard, uncomfortable chair, you may find yourself feeling more tired, stressed, and losing motivation to work. There are different things that you need to consider when you are choosing the best chair for you, such as your weight and your general health condition. If you are experiencing chronic back pain, there may be a problem with the height of the chair you are using. Choose a chair that will not only make you feel comfortable working, but will also help you maintain a good posture.
Set Your Monitor and Desktop Height
Sometimes, the way your monitor or desktop is set up can also have an impact. Monitors that are set too low can cause you to slouch to see the screen, creating a greater tendency for you to experience back pain. Set your monitor at (or slightly below) eye level, so that you can look at it comfortably without altering your posture.
Your everyday life in the office may affect your health, so make sure that you are comfortable and you are not experiencing things that may affect your performance or your quality of life. And remember that your physical health will determine the amount – and quality – of work you will be able to generate.
