Cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, Jay Chou—dubbed the King of Mandopop—is finally bringing his highly-anticipated Carnival World Tour to Hong Kong this May! Fans of the pop sensation have five chances to witness their favourite singer in person at the Central Harbourfront Event Space; Chou will perform on 5, 6, 11, 13, and 14 May.
As it stands, tickets for the rescheduled shows from the cancelled 2020 tour are already sold out due to many loyal fans still holding onto theirs from almost three years ago. For those without a ticket, do not despair! Official sources have already announced an additional set of tickets on 10 May, with sales going live on cityline.com from 21 March onwards.
Jay Chou continues to be a genre-defining player on the Mandopop scene since his debut in 2000. Apart from creating original tunes, in recent years, Chou has also expanded into the arts—most notably his collaboration with Sotheby’s in 2021—while lining up exciting collaborations with entertainment icons in Asia, such as local legend Stephen Chow and South Korean hip-hop and R&B sensation, Zion T.
