Wan Chai's bustling Lee Tung Avenue is well known for its beautiful lantern and light displays throughout the year, but this Christmas we are being treated to something extra special, as the avenue will play host to the world-famous 'Spirit of Christmas' light scheme from Regent Street in London.

As the first street to introduce festive lighting and decorations to Londoners back in 1954, Regent Street is now a cherished shopping and dining destination during the holiday season, when locals and tourists flock to embrace the joy and magic of twinkling lights and fantastic displays (pictured below). Now lucky Hongkongers have the chance to experience it for themselves and celebrate the festive spirit in true London style.
From
November 16 onwards (the eve after the actual switch-on ceremony on Regent Street), Lee Tung Avenue will display five of Regent Street’s iconic Spirit installations along its 200-metre boulevard, and host a series of special Christmas performances such as parades and themed programmes throughout the season.
So if you're looking for a little bit of festive magic this Christmas, you know where to find it – we're already feeling all warm and fuzzy inside just thinking about it!
