Just when we thought we couldn't love charming eatery Scarlett Café & Wine Bar any more, and top Aussie chef Danny Grimshaw joins the team to bring an exciting new dining experience to hungry Hong Kongers.
The adventurous chef has relocated from Saigon, Vietnam, but originally hails from Melbourne where he spent over twenty years working the stoves of five-star, award-winning hotel restaurants. He will now bring his talents to the Scarlett kitchen, whipping up new seasonal dishes that pair perfectly with the selection of French wines on offer - and just in time for summer!
With his strong farm to table philosophy, Grimshaw will use original flavors and seasonal produce to entice foodies to dine with their nearest and dearest at the trendy Tsim Sha Tsui venue. After all, with his Australian roots, he's a firm believer that the most memorable dining experiences are those shared with friends and family.His humble beginnings are reflected in his cooking style, which focuses on creating dishes that are beautifully simple and flow with the rhythm of the seasons. Over the coming months, he will be raising the heat to match Hong Kong’s weather with many exciting changes in store - so watch this space!
