In this special collaboration with Lay’s, KFC combines two of America’s favourite fried foods to create layers upon layers of texture. Their brand-new chicken recipe features ultra-crispy skin with juicy and tender meat inside. As Janet Yuen, CEO of KFC Hong Kong and Macau, puts it, “It’s our new fried chicken recipe, in which we hand-bread the chicken with chips in-store to create the crisp coating. I’m sure KFC fans will have a lot to say about it.” Oh, you bet we do.

As if a finger-lickin’ good recipe isn’t enough to delight us, for the first time ever, KFC is also introducing a craft beer partnership with a local Hong Kong brewery, available only at its contemporary new concept store in Causeway Bay. Seating 150 guests in a modern ambience of Instagrammable pop-art and 3D art installations, the concept store is positioned to be KFC’s ‘brand ambassador’ for a new era, uplifting the traditional fast-food experience with a chic environment.
The store, located on the corner of Hennessy Road and Percival Street, will serve
Colonel Craft Beer IPA ($55) on tap or
Colonel Craft Beer Pale Ale Citra ($58) in bottles. While
Colonel Craft Beer IPA combines Citra and Motueka hops with tropical fruitiness like a cup of refreshing juice,
Colonel Craft Beer Pale Ale Citra is exclusively brewed with Citra hops, offering zesty grapefruit and lychee notes.
