Beloved watering hole Stone Nullah Tavern is due to close and reinvent itself as another Linguini Fini New York Italian eatery, which will go by the name of Fini's.

The popular haunt, which has remained a pillar of Wan Chai society over the years, and once homed the famous 'Beat the Clock' happy hour, will remain under the same ownership by Red Sauce Hospitality, but will trade its classic American dishes for hearty Italian fare.
The Tavern's beloved crispy chicken wings and Mac 'n' cheese will be replaced with New York style pizza from an open-flame hearth and homemade pasta dishes that have proven to be popular in the Linguini Fini Central branch.
The group, which also owns Soho based eateries Posto Public and Linguini Fini, as well as newcomer Frank's Italian American on Wyndham Street, is known for its community-centred venues and commitment to sourcing local organic produce, so we can only hope that the spirit of the Tavern is kept alive and kicking in the bustling neighbourhood.
Until the big transformation, guests can still enjoy $30 beers, wines, and house spirits every day from 3pm until 7pm in the dining area while the bar undergoes renovation.
