Hong Kong’s leading performance expert Starlit Voice has developed a series of summer drama workshops that feature unique musicals and plays for students to try their hand at being a star.

Inspired by the worlds of comic books, television, and novels, these summer drama workshops are perfect crash courses for theatre enthusiasts. Enrolled students can engage with original scripts based on their favourite stories, including Marvel’s Avengers, Pokémon, the Lord of the Rings, Artemis Fowl, Dora the Explorer, and the classical lores of King Arthur. Supported by an immersive and collaborative learning environment, participants can focus on honing their performance skills. Not to mention, eager drama buffs can add a valuable notch to their theatrical belt, too.
Each production schedule includes five days of rehearsals and one ten-minute showcase performance to an audience of peers, friends, and family. To maximise hands-on guidance from stage directors and ensure that students have the freedom to fully express themselves in their roles, each workshop is limited to 10–12 participants. Starlit Voice’s summer drama workshops will run at Kellett International School in Kowloon Bay as well as Canadian International School in Wong Chuk Hang from July 2–August 9.
