While we all know that mums should be appreciated year-round, having a special day just for them is okay in our books. But if your mama is in Hong Kong, then why not treat her to more than just the classic card and flowers combination and go the extra mile this Mother's Day. Whatever your budget, these great ideas will show your special lady just how much you love her.

Treat Her to a Spa Day
Let your mama really put her feet up by treating her to a relaxing spa day or treatment at one of Hong Kong's
gorgeous spas. The signature
Unwind package at Sparadise (priced at $1,280 for 60 minutes) begins with a full body scrub and shower to wash away any pent-up tension. This is followed by a 75-minute aromatic massage, designed to put even the busiest of minds at ease and to leave you feeling relaxed and recharged. Meanwhile, the Ritz Carlton (pictured) offers a special day-spa package called
She Deserves It! which includes a back massage, facial, and hand or foot massage which can be enjoyed while sipping on two glasses of complimentary champagne —
how marvellous! And just when you thought it couldn't get any better, the day ends with an afternoon tea for two at Café 103, overlooking the Hong Kong harbour. Now that's what we call a pamper session! Gifts for mums are priced from $2,680, and mother and daughter packages start from $5,380.

Run Away to the Circus
Is your mum a big kid at heart? Then why not run away with her to the circus and catch the spectacular Cirque du Soleil show KOOZA. Held under the signature blue and yellow Big Top at Central Harbourfront, this jaw-dropping spectacle combines daring acrobatics and slapstick clowning around which is sure to get you both laughing, gasping, and hanging on the edge of your seats throughout. Why not treat your mum to a VIP cocktail and canapes session where she will get to take an exclusive sneak peek backstage after the show and look behind the scenes of this one-of-a-kind show. The VIP tours take place on Friday evenings – which doesn't
quite fall on Mother’s Day, but will be a totally unforgettable experience.
