March is just around the corner, which means our city is gearing up for a slew of exciting cultural events as Hong Kong Arts Month returns. With huge annual affairs such as Art Central and HKwalls popping up, there’s plenty happening around town for culture vultures to get excited about. But if walking through an art gallery or sitting down for hours in the theatre is not your idea of fun – then don’t worry, we’ve got your back. From a week-long music festival showcasing the hottest local music talents to an insane boozy bingo party, there are some of the best events to catch this March in Hong Kong.

The Week HK

Crank up the volume and get ready for a seven-day music extravaganza this March 3 to 9. Featuring a week-long schedule packed with fresh, homegrown music talents, The Week HK will see seven eclectic local bands take to the stage at seven different venues across the city. From dirty Hip Hop Night, headlining local OGs, 24 Herbs, to a finger-snapping Blues & Folk Night at a cosy venue in Mong Kok, there’s something for every music fan to get excited about. Put on your ‘reading’ glasses – because the queen of mean has arrived. Returning to Hong Kong for the second time, Bianca Del Rio is the alter ego of seasoned comic, Roy Haylock, and the Season 6 winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Hong Kong E-Prix

It’s going to be an action-packed Sunday this March 10, as the Hong Kong E-Prix returns to Central Harbourfront. Jim Gaffigan Quality Time Tour

Get ready for some serious giggles as Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, and two-time New York Times bestselling author Jim Gaffigan brings his ‘Quality Time’ tour to Hong Kong this March 16. Having already toured around the world to places such as France, Sweden, Norway, Japan, China, and more, Gaffigan became one of only 10 comics in history to sell out Madison Square Garden. Taste of Hong Kong

With an impressive line-up of world-class chefs from some of the city’s top restaurants, this four-day foodie haven will take place at Central Harbourfront from March 21 to 24.
