Helmed by Chef Shigeru Koizumi, Esora is situated within a heritage shophouse on Mohamed Sultan Road, where fine dining meets nature. The kappo-style restaurant showcases modern Japanese cuisine, inspired by natural wonder. Guests can expect nostalgic dishes, caressed by fresh, seasonal ingredients. There’s an emphasis on a close chef-guest relationship, and the dining counter features a skylight-dressed Japanese washi paper—paying tribute to the chef’s admiration for the clear blue sky. Everything is seen in shades of sky, reminiscent of Japanese cerulean skies. The restaurant even has a dedicated tea-pairing programme, serving as an ode to the perfect brew.

An all-American Barbecue restaurant, Jerry’s Barbecue & Grill serves Memphis-style wet barbecue in the heart of Ang Mo Kio. Craving xiao long bao and la mian? Shanghai Renjia is a family-run restaurant, which pays tribute to authentic Shanghainese cuisine.
