Acclaimed design company D’strict is bringing its revolutionary media art exhibition, “Arte M,” to Hong Kong this October! Avid lovers of immersive displays may have already heard whispers about “Arte Museum,” the stunning digital art exhibition in South Korea that launched in 2020 and attracted over 3.2 million visitors, and now D’strict will present a curated version in Hong Kong as the first overseas destination for the renowned show.

Renovated from a former speaker manufacturing factory, “Arte Museum” in South Korea immerses the viewer in 10 vibrant media installations created around the theme Eternal Nature. Using a mixture of light and sound, the exhibition draws on essential elements of nature in impressive visual-aural combinations projected on 10-metre-high screens.

Designed to be a spatial sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of modern city life, “Arte Museum” brings to Hong Kong its signature augmented reality experience of nature for urban dwellers to relax and unwind in. “Arte M” is a curated iteration of the renowned digital art exhibition that first opened in Jeju in 2020, followed by two additional locations in Yeosu and Gangneung in 2021. Hong Kong’s temporary exhibition will be located at K11 HACC in North Point, where D’strict promises visitors a digital haven from the city that never sleeps.

Created under the same theme as its counterpart in Jeju, “Arte M” in Hong Kong will be displaying six media works in an expansive exhibition hall with four separate spaces. Travel between a floral wonderland, an oceanic paradise, a psychedelic beach, and an exotic tropical jungle during your visit to K11 HACC this October for an impeccably balanced experience between visual intensity, vibrant energy, and elegant ambience.

“Arte M” is only the first step in the media art exhibition partnership between D’strict and K11. It will first be showcased at K11 HACC for 15 months before moving to 11 Skies, Hong Kong’s largest one-stop destination for retail, entertainment, and commerce, at the end of 2023 as a permanent exhibition. Admission tickets are now on sale via the official website. Get yours today and immerse yourself in the digital eternity of nature!
