Happy birthday, Kirby! To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the adorable pink hero, video game giant Nintendo brings to Hong Kong an official Kirby pop-up store filled with adorable merchandise and collectables you won’t want to miss!
Fans can explore this Kirby paradise at K11 Art Mall from now until 19 March. Greet a supersized Kirby at the entrance of the pop-up, where he will be waiting for loyal fans in full 3D glory. Strike a pose with the famous character before you enter the shop!
Many attractions can be found within the pop-up, including a gallery detailing all of your favourite Kirby games in the past 30 years, including ones not released in Hong Kong! It’s the best place to dive deeper into the Kirby lore. Following that is the Kirby Mega Gashapon Machine, where visitors can try their luck and take home Kirby-themed souvenirs!
Don’t forget to stop by the Demo Zone before you go! Games available for trial include the soon-to-be-released Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby Star Allies, and Kirby’s Dream Buffet. Visitors can also size the opportunity to preorder Kirby’s Return to Dream Land on-site at the K11 Art Mall pop-up for a chance to win a limited-edition bookmark—also Kirby-themed, of course.
A selection of Kirby merch will also be available for purchase. Adorable plushies of Kirby and friends to exclusive tote bags, figures, and folders are up for grabs! Be sure to plan your purchases accordingly as you submerge yourself in this overwhelming selection.
As if you needed another reason to swing by the pop-up, all visitors will receive complimentary gifts at the store, including exclusive stickers, party hat, and themed balls from the gashapon machine, so you can infuse your space with pink puffy power!
