Heimat

As the Lan Kwai Fong destination for all things German, you can certainly expect a well-rounded celebration of Oktoberfest at Heimat. Its two new seasonal menus act as a seal of authenticity for the restaurant’s German cuisine: alongside the Oktoberfest menu is the wild game menu, launched in celebration of the revered game season in Germany.

Sample the finest game items from the à la carte wild game menu, including the Wildschwein Sauerbraten ($328), a luxury interpretation of Germany’s national dish where wild boar is roasted and paired with sweet apples and red cabbage. Together with venison loin and fallow deer, this will certainly be a feast unlike any other you’ve had in Hong Kong!

Heimat’s Oktoberfest feast-for-four menu ($988) is no less authentic. Start with the classic Heimat Brotzeit of freshly made bread, sausages, and cheeses; move on to the sausage platter of Schlachtplatte complete with blood and liver; and wrap up with the indulgent Kaiserschmarren (literally “Emperor’s Mess”), where pillowy caramelised pancakes are paired with homemade apple compote. Diners are offered a jug of Possmann Frankfurter apple cider and eight German beers for the ultimate Oktoberfest experience.

Heimat’s wild game menu is available till November. Click here for more information. The Oktoberfest feast-for-four menu is available till the end of October. Click here for more information. Head over to Heimat for an authentic experience of Germany this autumn!
