Lunchbox Theatrical Productions is offering four pairs of tickets (worth $795 each) to see War Horse at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Wan Chai in May.
Based on Michael Morpurgo’s beloved novel of the same name, War Horse tells the heartwarming story of Joey, a beloved horse that is sold to the Cavalry and shipped to France at the outbreak of the First World War. Caught in enemy fire, Joey embarks on an extraordinary journey that sees him serve on both sides, before finding himself along in no man’s land. His owner, the young Albert, who never forgot his beloved steed, sets out on a daring rescue.
The show is directed by Marianne Elliott and Tom Morris, and was adapted from the book by Nick Stafford. The highlight is the ground-breaking puppetry by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, which brings breathing, galloping horses to life. The groundbreaking production has been enjoyed by nearly 8 million people around the world, in 97 cities in 11 countries, and now Hongkongers get to experience it in all its glory at the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts from May 10 to June 2.
Standard ticket prices range from $395 to $1,245 and be purchased on HK Ticketing, but to be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets, simply enter your details in the form below and answer the simple question.
