Hong Kong International School

Hong Kong International School (HKIS) is a leading private co-educational college preparatory school for students from Reception One (pre-kindergarten) to Grade 12.

Since 1966, HKIS has provided an exceptional educational environment grounded in the Christian faith. We know that students learn best when they are in charge of how they learn. Our American-style programme permits students to do this, with our expert teachers guiding their learning to achieve excellence. HKIS offers a warm, inclusive learning environment for around 3,000 students of 45 nationalities and diverse religious backgrounds, and continually evolves programmes and facilities to enhance the student experience.

HKIS has four divisions across two campuses on the south side of Hong Kong Island: Lower Primary (Pre-K to Grade 2), Upper Primary (Grades 3–5), Middle School (Grades 6–8), and High School (Grades 9–12). HKIS is a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) and fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
